ZERO DAY (paused production)
Cooperative VR Heist Game
Set in a not too distant cyberpunk future, Zero Day is a cooperative virtual reality heist game. You and your teammate must traverse a corporate spire and carefully steal data from each floor. One player will engage in VR to act as the Agent and maneuver through the building. The other will play on PC and act as the Hacker to assist the Agent and manipulate cameras and traps when necessary. Communication is key, as neither player has the information or the tools to complete the mission on their own. As you engage dangerous traps and tasks, never forget the one person who has your back.
I developed this game with fellow Northeastern students Justin Dunn, Leslie Xie, Roger Chen, and Ryan Teng.
As programmer and game designer, I scripted game states and traps, designed 3D levels, and integrated art assets.
Unfortunately due to the 2020 covid pandemic, we were unable to finish the game at the Northeastern VR lab. However, we are proud of what we were able to accomplish as students in eight months and grateful for the opportunity to showcase our game at the Boston Museum of Science in December 2019.
